Protocol act that made the first official kick off at the Fitur Tourism Fair held in Madrid in January.
Mr. Jose Miguel Rodriguez Fraga, Mayor of the town hall of Adeje, hosted a presentation that offered every detail and served to recognize many people working for this rally, scoring for the Spanish Asphalt Rally Championship (3rd test) for the canarian and for the Tenerife Championship to take part on the 12th and 13th of May.

Mr Hugo Gil, manager of CC Siammall, was the first to intervene on stage with a special decoration dedicated to start of scene and welcoming everyone to the Comercial Center and showed his joy to continue supporting this great event in the south of Tenerife.

It was the moent to recive Mr Poli Delgado, President of the Escuderia Adeje, who took the opportunity to thank all the institutions, sponsors, collaborators, volunteers and friends who have collaborated in the creation and staging of this 27th edition of Adeje Rally.

Poli comment the latest rally news on its route with a different setting of stages from last year, with 12 stages and the inclusion this year of the “king stage� of Santiago del Teide-Guía de Isora with more than 28 km of route. Poli also talked about the changes made at the Operations and Verification Center, now at the Sports Center of Las Torres and the Service park that now goes to the Ayyo Adeje Avenue in the “Tu Trebol� Shopping Center, right in front of the Operation Center. There was a special moment also to remember the safety and golden rules of the FIA, which remind us how to enjoy motor sport the safe way.

On the screen, several images of last years rally were followed by the pictures and logos of the collaborating companies that have made an important effort to be with the Escudería Villa de Adeje, something that we thank very much for the budget that already handles the rally itself that stands above 100,000 euros.
It was the turn of the representatives of the Town Councils of the South of Tenerife that welcome in one way or another the celebration of the test. Mr. Hipólito Tejera, Councilman of the Town Hall of Fasnia was the first to come on stage. Fasnia will officially start the test in the timed sections or stages. The representatives of the Ayuntamientos of Arico, Granadilla and Arona, apologized for not being at the presentation because of holding important plenary sessions at their headquarters and showed their maximum support for the event.

On behalf of the City Council of Guia de Isora, Mr. Jose Fernando Rivero represented the Sports council. The Mayor of San Miguel Mr. Emilio Navarro Mayor of Santiago del Teide, closed the word shift of the eight municipalities that have joined in "pro" of motor sport.

Representing the Insular Cabildo of Tenerife, highlighting the great work and support we have received from the Tourism and Sports area, we received on stage Mr. Jesús Morales Martínez.

A special moment was the presence of our Sports councilor of Adeje, Mr. Adolfo Alonso Ferrera, who has lived very close the evolutions of the work of preparation of the test, but that we consider part of the club by his great implication thanking him enormously his over effort and so much work that dedicates to the many sports of our Villa of Adeje.

A key pillar is the entry, support, sponsorship and even name that have given the prestigious brand of fuel BP. Mr. Juan Cobián Responsible for the Direct Supply of Canarias fuels BP, offered full support for the rally and explained that two more years of contract have been signed to give fluidity and stability to a large project.

This year we counted and it has been an honor to have the President of the Royal Automobile Spanish Federation, Mr. Manuel Aviñó in the act of presentation of the test. The president emphasized the great work done by all the team of the organization. He thanked the institutional support and was very happy with the union established between so many municipalities. There were words of thanks to the collaborators, sponsors and companies that support this rally. Mr. Aviñó finished his speech reminding that with the effort of many people, great things are achieved, it is very important the support to the teams as the scholarship offered by the RFEDA in search of being driver at the European Championship, and that he took as an example to congratulate the organization team for its initiative to give a present of 2 BP fuel cards and a free inscription of the rally.

After these draws with three winning teams, the Mayor of the Historical Villa of Adeje, Mr. José Miguel Rodríguez Fraga offered a speech full of optimism, showing itself once again enchanted by the union of the southern municipalities, by the great support of big and small companies, for this sport and the great social movement that is around the rally. The Mayor showed his full support for one of the great events of the municipality and he invited everyone to be at the rally on 12th and 13th of May, living the rally with passion and safety.

The next important date in the calendar is the opening of the registration of teams on April 3, 2017. From the organization team we would like to take this opportunity to thank all those present at the presentation, but above all to the staff of CC Siammall and Teamfactory for the assembly of the act.
